Socket AM2 processors: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (3250-6400), AMD Athlon 64 X2 BE, AMD Athlon 64 (2000-4000), AMD Athlon 64 FX, AMD Sempron X2 (2100-2300), AMD Sempron (2800-3800), AMD Sempron LE, AMD Opteron 1200 series.

Socket AM2 is for the Brisbane, Sparta, Manila, Windsor, Lima, Orleans, and Santa Ana processor families. AM2 CPUs were manufactured using the 65/90 nm process technology, support DDR2-400/667/800, have up to 2 cores, compatible with AM2+ motherboards, have been produced since 2006.
